I don't like saying too much about any company because one bad apple can give a company a bad name.

We have been with ADT for over two years. We paid extra for all the upgrades and extra stuff we wanted.The system worked right for a while then we started having the fire dept. show up all hours of the night,false alarms..ect..etc. I had to stop having a secondary number because ADT was unable to call our home first for some unknown reason. My friends and family asked me not to be the second choice of contact because they to got tired of being waken in the middle of the night by ADT. 

The first time I had problems with this system, four or five techs came out and walked around the house but were unable to find why these problems kept happening, but in their report they wrote they were unable to find any problems. This didn't fix the false alarm problems.

After getting really fed up with all the no shows and BS I finally wrote the BBB and filed a complaint. Did I fail to say I had them stop monitoring my house....this stopped all the false alarms and stupid phone calls. I was by the way still making their monthly payment for monitoring my house....something sound wrong here. I finally recieved a phone call a month or so later and they sent a tech that knew what he was doing and he ended up replacing 3 sensors, the fire alarm and smoke detector and the main key pad control box. This fixed everything for about 9 months and yepper I started having the same crap happen again and yes, started going throught this loop to loop run around crap.

I was lucky this time, my contract had expired. Yes I canceled all services.What really bothered me the most was ADT was unable to fix this system to get it to work right.They had no problem debitting my account each month and they had no problem cashing my check when they did this half a$$ install job. When you go on line and start searching other companies they also have these problems. So what is a customer to do.
