I signed up with ADT because I thought they were the best. The 3 year contract scared me, but I just bought a new house and had no plans to move. It is just my daughter and I and I wanted to fell protected and safe.
I have had nothing but HORRIBLE service. The customer service reps just transfer, and transfer and transfer. When I ask for a supervisor, they either transfer me, put me on never ending hold or hang up on me. I have had numerous false alarms. I was denied approval to have a technican come out to my house to check my alarm unit and was hung up on. When I tried to get the information on the female who hung up on me and was so rude to me I got transfered over and over and was told that they could not get that information for me.
After numerous calls back and transfers I finally got someone to come out and was charged $25. NOW I CANT EVEN USE MY ALARM SYSTEM BECAUSE OF ALL THE FALSE ALARMS. It goes off everyday that I set it. I then called them to schedule another appt for a technician to check my alarm system again, and was told after more transfers, that I would have to pay again for another service call and extra because I wanted someone to come out on a saturday or evening.
I then asked about cancellations, and was transfered to another of many rude customer reps and then to Defender Security. That representative was the worst yet! He spoke over me, talked to me like a retard, speaking very slow and pronouncing his words is a very belittling way, was so rude and condisending that I was just shocked and ended up having a nervous breakdown at work and had to take time to just cry out my frustrations! He also hung up on me as well. I HATE Adt and want both of these companies out of my life and do not want the stress and heartache to continue that these companies have caused myself, my daughter, and my family. I am a disabled war veteran with PTSD and do not deserve this kind of treatment as all my fellow Americans do not deserve this kind of treatment. ADT should be shut down for being such an AWFUL, DISCUSTING, LYING, CHEATING, SCAMMING, HORRIBLE company.
