"I can proudly say that I am employeed by ADT and along with the technician's review, I'm equally as disgusted by what people are saying about ADT's services without realizing that you get what you pay for".

I can't tell you how many visits I've made to homes that signed a contract with an authorized dealer of ADT.  OK, it's very very simple. When you pay a ridicuously low amount for equipment, you're paying for cheap equipment from the AUTHORIZED DEALER NOT ADT!  The equipment from a dealer and the monitoring from ADT are two completely different services. If you had called ADT, not an authorized dealer, you would see the difference in service and customer care. What some people care to not understand is that ADT is not liable for the inexpensive, refurbished equipment that was put in. Guess who is. YOU. Think that you got such a great deal paying next to nothing for your system? Well, if that used equipment never breaks down, then you did get a good deal. Yet why would anyone chance their lives and the lives of their family to save a couple hundred dollars?

Ask Yourself Before Investing In A Security System:

*How many monitoring centers does the company have?

*Is the equipment new, right out of the box or is it refurbished (not that you would get an honest answer from a company practically giving away equipment)?

*Do they have theft guarantee (if your house is broken into, does the security company pay a deductable)? - ADT does. $500 deductable if your system is armed when a burglary occured.

*ADT also has a movers guarantee, 6 month money back refund (monitoring and install $).

*If a security company didn't think their product was top of the line, why would they ensure a $500 deductible if you're home was broken into?

Think about it.
